Support Services (Transportation)
The Company owns a complete transportation fleet for the logistical support needed
by the distribution areas, shops and export outlets. All company products are transported
between production centers and distribution centers especially to company outlets
and clients. The latest refrigerated trucks have been acquired with the latest and
highest specifications to preserve the quality and safety of our products. We also
provide dry transport services and sales mobilization. The Company works mainly
with the Saudi Airlines for domestic transportation. The Company also depends on
another international aviation company to ship products between production and marketing
zones. This service achieves the time to market necessary to transport the goods
produced by The Company from centers and branches directly to the client’s storage
unit. The Company is proud to introduce its products on elite airlines.
QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL
The Saudi Fisheries Company has been striving hard to achieve the highest food quality and safety standards for meeting client's requirements all the time. Its employees strictly adhere with the company's quality and safety policies to provide products at a very competitive price by implementing national and international quality standards for which company committed. The Company also maintains highest level of quality and safety for its products to enable consumer’s confidence by abiding with food safety rules enforced by the local and international authorities. The main objective of Quality Assurance is to provide wholesome products to all the domestic, regional and international clients through continuous development of new products and procedures.
The Company implemented Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2005 and SQF 2000 ( Safe Quality Food) in the year 2002 as part of continual improvements in the products and services. In the year 2009, Food Safety Management System (FSMS) ISO 22000:2005 was implemented and is being followed for all company operations, products and employees. This system is based on HACCP principles and applies to Sea foods (Fish & Shell fish) , processing & production of fresh, frozen, Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) and Value Added products for local sales and/or export.
